I am super excited about my newest client, Tammy Chester at Rejuvenation Station Studios. I’m helping her to update her Facebook business page. She is always, polite, professional and thoughtful, which is not true of everyone in business. Not only is Tammy a wonderfully sweet woman, she has magic hands. I’ve never had a massage before, so I thought it would be best to experience Tammy’s more than 15 years as a professional massage therapist firsthand. First I had to fill out a new client form (available online or at her studio). When I showed up for my appointment she went over the form with me carefully and told me what to expect. She really put me at ease. I was a little nervous about being half-naked in front of someone that I’m not married to, but she made me feel comfortable the entire time.

First of all the table was nice and warm and soft, so I was feeling good before she put one hand on me. Tammy started at my neck and shoulders, which is pretty fantastic because I sit at a computer all hunched over every day. I love that she even massaged my finger tips, scalp and face. I wasn’t expecting that kind of attention, but I loved every second of it! I cannot wait to go back and for another massage and try out her other services like the the Peppermint Foot Rub and the Hot Paraffin Treatment. Don’t worry, I’ll blog about those services too.

I’m definitely going to give the gift of Tammy to my friends and family. The next time I go to a baby shower, I’m showing up with a gift certificate for a Pregnancy Massage! What mom-to-be wouldn’t love a massage after months of carrying all that extra weight? I remember crawling on my hands and knees from room to room at the end of my second pregnancy because the sciatic pain was UNBEARABLE. This would also be an excellent Mother’s Day gift.
